Franklin County Respiratory Rentals, Inc. was selected to receive the Better Business Bureau of Western Virginia's Torch Award for marketplace ethics for 2004. The winner was announced at the Better Business Bureau's Annual Ethic Awards Luncheon held at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center on October 12, 2004 . FCRR was the winner in the category of businesses with 1 to 50 employees.

The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics is an annual competition for companies in western Virginia which comprises 32 counties and 14 cities. It recognizes companies that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion. To be eligible for this award a business must be in good standing with the BBB, be located in the service area of the BBB, and have been in business for at least three years.
